Puros Huerfanos By Drew Estate / Puros Huerfanos By Drew Estate (Famous Smoke) / Handmade
Originally part of a blend that was headed somewhere bigger, plans changed - boxes changed – SOMETHING changed…whatever it was, suddenly this cigar found itself without a home. That’s where the “orphan” story begins, and where the value really shines bright! You could smoke these Puros Huerfanos Maduro Robustos a dozen times and never get bored. That’s because at a classic 5x50, this Robusto hits the sweet spot for balance. The wrapper burns with a natural cocoa sweetness, the core with Nicaraguan-forward character. But because the blend details are under wraps, the experience becomes the focus - and that’s exactly how it should be. What you can expect is Drew’s familiar Nicaraguan backbone: a gentle run of spice, earthy undertones, and that warm, natural richness that makes their cigars – and their Maduros especially - such a favorite. Construction is solid from start to finish, with a clean burn and firm ash; smoke is, as you’d expect from Drew Estate, abundant. This is one of those cigars that makes you rethink what “value” really means: these Maduros carry the feel of something meant for a higher shelf, minus the markup and the hype. Just a genuinely good Robusto that stands on its own. That’s the Puros Huerfanos Maduro Robusto: premium roots, and a whole lot of flavor for the money. Exactly the kind of cigar you love finding at Famous!
