Padron

José Orlando Padrón left Cuba and rolled the first Padrón cigars in Miami in 1964. The family moved production to Estelí, Nicaragua, and never rushed its tobacco. The 1964 Anniversary Series uses leaf aged at least four years, and a box-pressed 1926 Serie release was Cigar Aficionado's first Cigar of the Year.
